On Sunday, August 18th at 2:00 PM, we invite you to an unforgettable concert experience at the café area at Kistefos. The talented Solveig Sings Trio, led by the fantastic vocalist Solveig Borgen, will take us on a journey through beloved jazz classics.
This is a unique opportunity to experience some of Norway's best jazz musicians live. With Solveig Borgen on vocals, August Veseth on piano, and Morten Kvam on double bass, you can expect an afternoon filled with swinging rhythms and beautiful improvisation inspired by legends like Chet Baker.

She started the jazz and folk band Solveig Sings Scandinavian and toured in Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. In 2022, she co-founded Moss Jazz Club. Solveig also works on her own music in the Audiorommet studio in Oslo. She lives in Jeløy and performs on jazz stages across Norway.
August Veseth, piano:
August Veseth is an exciting new addition to the music scene in Østfold. He has his education from the Music Conservatory in Tromsø, where he earned a bachelor's degree in performing rhythmic piano, along with further studies in pedagogy. Veseth has delved into various genres, including jazz and blues, as well as folk songs and classical music. He is a piano teacher at Moss Music School and, in his free time, performs concerts and studio sessions both alone and with others. He has worked with names like "Sondre Kleven Quintet," "Misvær Skaforening," and "Manna," and now we have the pleasure of hearing him in Solveig Sings Trio.
